Our Mission
Hasna Sal Public Art Foundation
Founded in July 2022, the Hasna Sal Public Art Foundation was established by glass sculptor, architect, poet, and public artist Hasna Sal.
The foundation aims to support her mission of melding public art, storytelling, and social activism, particularly through creative placemaking that raises awareness on critical issues like human trafficking, domestic abuse, and community resilience.

Recognition & Exhibitions
- Exhibited glass jewelry at multiple New York Fashion Week events (2018–2020) .
- Participated in the International Contemporary Cannes Biennale (2019) and the Larnaca Biennale in Cyprus (2021) .
- Featured on a Times Square billboard in New York City (March 2024) with her glass painting “Motherhood” as part of an HMVC Gallery national competition.
- Additional accolades include the Dogè Award in Venice—reflecting international recognition for her glass artistry.

Community Engagement & Storytelling
- Actively serves on the board of HEAL Trafficking and taught design studio at the University of Kansas (2006–2009).
- Her public art practice is deeply rooted in storytelling, oral histories, and social justice, using color and light to transform neglected spaces into sites of memory, reflection and hope.
